We are very privileged to have author, Graham Mercer, come to talk to us during the elementary library classes next week. Mr Mercer is the author of many non-fiction books about Tanzania including one recently about the history of IST. It will be a great opportunity to be able to ask him questions about what it is like to be an author and how much work goes into getting a book published.
In preparation for his visit, this week we have looked at how books are written and printed. We have read The best story written by Eileen Spinelli and illustrated by Anne Wilsdorf. This book reminds us that we write best when we write stories that are interesting to us.
